Union Jack is the name held by multiple fictional characters in Marvel Comics, each a British superhero. The first Union Jack, James Montgomery Falsworth, debuted in Invaders #7 (1976).
James Montgomery Falsworth, a nobleman, initially served as a fighter pilot during World War I. He later became involved in espionage and eventually took on the mantle of Union Jack, fighting alongside other heroes against the Axis powers.
Later inheritors of the title are Brian Falsworth and Joseph Chapman. Each individual upheld the legacy of Union Jack, representing British patriotism and courage in the face of various threats.
